DMJM has provided architecture and engineering services for a three-building complex consisting of the main experiment building, the charge preparation annex, and the optics diagnosis and administration support building. The new facilities support the experimental study of large external experiments or small, internally-contained experiments using multi-diagnostic techniques, such as laser interferometry and spectroscopy. Special considerations included blast design, Class A clean laboratory requirements, security considerations, laser optics research, and HEPA filtration systems. |
