DMJM is the telecommunications, security, and audiovisual consultant for the design and construction of two of AmSouth Bank’s recent building projects. The Riverchase Operations Center in Birmingham, Alabama, houses 2,500 employees in a 450,000–square foot building with an adjacent 20,000–square foot data center. DMJM’s primary role at that facility includes planning, design, and implementation management of all voice, data, video, and security designs, including IT infrastructure, security systems, telephone connectivity, and audiovisual and video conferencing systems. DMJM also performed trade-off studies for several SONET (Synchronous Optical Network) implementation scenarios, and assisted the bank in developing migration strategies to move various functions to this new facility. |
