Under a 10-year, $300 million fee Construction Management Support Services Contract (CMSSC), DMJM is providing project and construction management services, including the design and construction of customer support facilities for the USPS, nationwide. DMJM has been serving the construction management needs of the USPS in the east (environmental upgrades) and the west (CMSSC Western Region) for the past 17 years. This contract includes on-site construction management, resident engineering, and inspection services for both fixed price and guaranteed maximum price construction contracts; project management services during design and construction of both new and renovation projects; preparation of design-build solicitation bid packages; management of the underground storage-tank replacement program; handicapped accessibility surveys and upgrades; and preparation of functional design specifications and basis for design reports. DMJM will also be responsible for asbestos surveys and reports; seismic analyses, surveys, and reports; selection of pre-qualified construction contractors and design-build firms; assistance in selection of A/E firms; preparation and review of life-cycle cost analyses; real estate support for leases and re-leases of postal facilities; assistance in site selection; and feasibility studies. |
