Design
At DMJM, our culture is rooted in design. For six decades, DMJM has helped shape the world around us, from high-rise buildings that form city skylines, to high-tech, science, and research facilities that define our way of life and future. We work in a broad range of markets and are experienced in virtually every building type. Problem solvers by nature, we serve clients by listening to their concerns, understanding their goals, and sharing in their vision. We engage our clients in the design process as their needs drive the solution and accuracy of the delivered product. We believe that capital investments in facilities should be aligned with measurable, sustainable business benefits. Rather than a signature style, our portfolio reflects a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. Ultimately, we seek a balance between art and technology, form and function, beauty and purpose, vision and result.
Sustainable Design
Sustainability is an important aspect of our design practice, and in fact, DMJM has worked with the U.S. Green Building Council to develop national guidelines for sustainable development on university campuses. For any building type, our design process is based on responsible solutions including energy efficient building systems, appropriate selection of materials and form to maximize environmental conditions, and long term performance. We continue to work with clients to obtain LEED certification on projects and have achieved top ratings for private and public sector clients.
